Job description
Want to master the art of sales at a fast-growing scale-up?
Are you a go-getter who isn’t afraid to pick up the phone? Do you want to help drive the digital revolution in logistics? Then this Working Student position at Shypple is perfect for you! Read on or apply directly.
About Shypple
Shypple makes shipping simple. We are revolutionizing the conservative logistics sector by making it digital and transparent. Our platform provides customers and all stakeholders with real-time visibility into every aspect of the supply chain. Through our platform, logistics teams can search, compare, book, and track air, rail, and sea freight shipments directly. As a "digital forwarder," we make logistics more efficient than the industry is used to. The result? Fewer errors, better insights, less emailing, and lower costs.
Your role as Sales Working Student
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) Working Student, you will be part of our Sales team—the engine of our growth. You will work closely with our experienced sales professionals.
What will you do?
Your main goal is to acquire new leads. You are the first link in our sales process and are responsible for:
Lead Generation: finding and approaching potential customers (via email, phone, LinkedIn, etc.);
Lead qualification: determining if a lead fits our product (budget, need, timing);
Initial outreach: generating interest and understanding the prospect’s challenges;
Scheduling meetings: passing qualified leads to a Sales colleague;
CRM Management: correcting and logging all interactions and data;
Collaboration: providing feedback to Marketing and Sales regarding lead quality and campaigns.
Job requirements
What you bring to the table
We are looking for an ambitious student (preferably in their final year) who wants to gain commercial experience. You might be studying International Business, Economics, or Communications (HBO/WO/MBO), but your mindset is more important than your major.
You don’t get discouraged by “no” and stay motivated to work towards a “yes”;
You’re comfortable with rejection and persist until results come;
You’re excited to sell a high-value B2B service, not low-value consumer products;
You are proactive, comfortable with cold calling, competitive, and a strong team player;
You are available for a long-term student role (minimum 1 year), 16–32 hours per week over 2–4 days;
You are fluent in both German and English, spoken and written.
What we offer
Salary: €14.99 gross per hour;
Performance bonus: An extra reward for every qualitatively validated lead. The better you perform, the more you earn!
Coaching: intensive guidance to take your sales skills to the next level;
A spot in an ambitious, friendly team with a "getting things done" mentality;
The perks: daily breakfast, great coffee, and relaxation at the table football table.
